Brooke Combe’s debut album release ‘Dancing At The Edge of The World’ is an absolute soul fuelled belter, and frankly I can’t get enough of it.
Yes, yes, I’ve still to gets tickets for her gig at the Barrowland, but it promises to be sensational. Liverpool has sold out. London, Manchester, Bergen and others will surely follow suit.

Simply put, she and her team have just released a half hour behind the scenes film about the making of the album, and it reveals new depths to her music that ensures the documentary is a compelling watch.

🇳🇴 NORWAY
🇳🇴 Sigrid is back. The Ålesund born singer emailed fans a gif. laden update about new songs and shows incoming.
I’m writing to you from Oslo, where I’m listening to mixes of new songs….. rehearsing with the band!..lots of planning meetings, hiking, cooking, skiing - the usual stuff..
I didn’t reeeally know what I wanted to do going into the last year of writing and frankly I was pretty nervous too, but I had a colouring book and a water bottle so we got started. countless hours and unknown amounts of Godt Brød-sandwiches later, I’m sitting on some music that I’m incredibly proud of
I’ve tried to capture the magic, the intricate melody making, the conversations that only come from being on the 10th hour of talking together in one go, the musical intertwining of two souls!, the friendships, the hardships, the ups and the downs and the GREAT JOURNEY of creating - it’s a bit like a fantasy quest tbf - and then my team ask for photos from this magical land I keep going on about and they get this:
Let’s just say I’ve put all my effort into making songs I absolutely love. I think that’s it for now and I’m sending lots of love to you who receives this mailer ❤️ can’t wait to chat more. soon!
