π© Ping! a DM drops into my Instagram. Itβs from a band I followed recently after a first listen of a tune captured my attention. They have new music and dates out, they say, so I PicoJar it to come back to later.
A few hours later over with coffee in hand I press play. The music is from Edinburgh-based five-piece rEDOLENT, with a debut album that frankly deserves to smash speakers into oblivion, demanding to be played loud and on repeat and immediately become my record of the week.
βdinny greetβ is a wickedly glorious take on living in a modern world, for the good, bad and impulsive. Made in Leith at Post Electric Studios it feels destined to become essential listening for the generational moods of today.

β΅οΈThe latest track from The Tumbling Souls called Sailing A Boiling Sea is released on Friday, also via Wee Studio, and a nod of thanks also to Adam Sutherland.
π Sara Rae has been revealed as one of the headliners for King Tutβs Summer Nights line up, playing on Sunday August 18.
πΆ The Peatbog Faeries have Innes and Allan from Niteworks joining then with a DJ set for their appearance at SWG3 TV Studio on Saturday June 15.
