Launched in 2024, it’s an interview based podcast sharing people’s stories all about life, career, mistakes, learnings and all the good stuff in between.
I go behind the scenes across the music industry in search of advice, creativity and stories from all those making it happen.
Chatting with artists, managers, promoters, crews and technical specialists about their own journeys bringing music and joy to fans everywhere, I share some of their stories in order to help inspire and encourage those starting out or trying to make their own way.
The podcast and now newsletter are still growing, so not anything like Radio 1, Heart, Capital, Bauer or NRK level. It’s so far self-funded by me, time dependent on my current ‘day’ job, but has still managed to capture people’s imaginations.
Looking at social media and from the emails and messages , it's clear the audience so far is predominantly made up of people involved in the business - from CEOs of major events promoters to bands just starting out, and crucially, music fans of all types.
The platforms are reaching hundreds of people without any promotion or advertising. Fans just like you and me listening out of interest to hundreds minutes of published interview so far.
For logistical reasons most of my interviews are Scottish and UK based, but because I am a big fan of the Norwegian and New Nordic music scene, there’s a separate section people can subscribe too.

This is about connecting a network and community for the music industry in Scotland, Norway and Nordic region and beyond. Spotlighting talent and helping inspire those making their journey.
